World Premiere of The Cut by Jordi Mand

*World Premiere of The Cut by Jordi Mand*

A world premiere by Jordi Mand, and a co-production with The Winnipeg Jewish Theatre.

In the nursery of their soon-to-be-born child, Sarah and Drew are unpacking boxes and preparing for a new beginning, but when the question of circumcision arises, the ordinary quickly turns urgent.

Raised in deeply different religious traditions, this couple finds themselves locked in a raw and revealing debate about their baby’s future—and their own. What starts as a single decision opens into buried wounds, unspoken regrets, and the fault lines of love and belief. The Cut is an intimate, gripping two-hander about faith, identity, and partnership at a breaking point—asking what it truly takes to build a future when fundamental values collide.
