In this What If writing workshop, author Sharon A. Crawford uses the 6 senses - taste, smell, touch, sight, hearing, intuition, and their related emotions to help participants choose the memoir they really want to write, then develop it.
This workshop combines studying published memoir excerpts (including Sharon’s published memoir, The Enemies Within Us), discussion, exercises including writing the memoir beginning, handouts – workshop outline covering the ABC’s of writing the memoir, research, using real names or pseudonyms, etc.
Participants are encouraged to bring personal photos relating to their memoir to facilitate some discussions and exercises.
