What if you could write a story where the reader chooses what happens, like a branching adventure, a mystery, or a game, and have AI build it with you?
In this class, you'll learn "vibe-coding" with our Innovator-in-Residence, Ryan Kelln: using an AI coding assistant to build your own interactive story or simple game. You'll design the branches, describe the rules in plain language, test for the tricky edge cases (what if the player picks the weird option?), and end up with a single file you can share with anyone. Just a story you want to tell. This is the playful sibling of the practical vibe-coding workshop.
Prerequisites: Mouse, keyboarding and internet skills. Computers are provided. No coding experience required. If you wish to save your work from this hands-on program, please bring your own USB stick.
Registration is required and will start September 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
Note: Your spot will not be guaranteed after 5 minutes of the start of the program. After this time, remaining seats will be filled on a first come, first serve basis until capacity is reached.
