For more than two decades, Trivium have been one of modern metal's defining bands, blending melody, technical precision, and extreme metal into a sound that's uniquely their own. Since forming in 1999, the Florida quartet—Matt Heafy, Corey Beaulieu, Paolo Gregoletto, and Alex Bent—has earned a GRAMMY® nomination, surpassed one million albums sold, accumulated more than half a billion streams, and built a reputation as a powerhouse onstage, sharing bills with Metallica and Iron Maiden while cultivating a massive global fanbase. Their landmark album Ascendancy became a modern classic, and a string of Billboard chart successes has cemented their place among metal's elite.
Their tenth studio album, In The Court of the Dragon , marks both a milestone and a bold new chapter for the band. Written during an unprecedented period of uncertainty, the record captures Trivium at their most focused and confident, combining blistering riffs, soaring melodies, crushing rhythms, and ambitious songwriting. Drawing inspiration from mythology while creating an original world of its own, the album reflects the chemistry and creative momentum of a band still pushing itself after more than 20 years. It's a record that honors Trivium's legacy while pointing toward the future of both the band and modern metal.
