Truth and Reconciliation day is September 30th. On this day, we honour Indigenous children who never returned home from Indian Residential Schools, as well as Survivors of the Indian Residential School System and their families. Wear your orange shirt in solidarity and create a custom Totem craft in the tradition of aboriginals who resided in the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America.
Library programme categories: Summer Wonder; Crafts & Hobbies; Preschool Children (0-5); School Age Children (6-12); English. Registration is not required.
