Students from The Glenn Gould School’s vocal program present The Glenn Gould School Chamber Opera on two evenings in November. This season’s offering will be a double bill of Samuel Barber’s A Hand of Bridge , a poignant miniature opera that reveals the hidden thoughts of four bridge players during a seemingly ordinary card game, and Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti , a jazz-infused one-act opera depicting a day in the life of a troubled married couple living in 1950s suburbia. Conducted by Jennifer Tung and directed by Mario Pacheco.
