On View:
September 19 - December 5, 2026
Opening: Fri. Sept. 18, 6PM – 8PM
Superstition, pattern, steel, mineral, dirt. Some labour takes a spine; some takes something harder to name. Hynes is interested in what a working life costs beyond what is measured, and in what a place builds around the work in order to survive it. The cut worm forgives the plow . This work is less sure it should.

Events
YYZ Artists’ Outlet has always been in downtown Toronto. Our location has moved over the years, as our needs and visions have expanded. 401 Richmond has been our home since 1998.
YYZ’s facility was designed by Scott Srli and was made possible in part by Margie Zeidler of 401 Richmond Inc. and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The following also donated time and resources toward the successful completion of the renovation: Neil Carey of Rescom Projects Inc., David J. Lieberman Architect, Donald Keith Moving and Flavio Trevisan.
