On View:
September 19 - December 5, 2026
Opening: Fri. Sept. 18, 6PM – 8PM
“Let me tell you: I’m trying to seize the fourth dimension of this instant-now so fleeting that it’s already gone because it’s already become a new instant-now that’s also already gone. Every thing has an instant in which it is. I want to grab hold of the is of the thing. These instants passing through the air I breathe: in fireworks they explode silently in space. I want to possess the atoms of time. And to capture the present, forbidden by its very nature: the present slips away and the instant too, I am this very second forever in the now.”
— from Água Viva, by Clarice Lispector translated by Stefan Tobler

Events
YYZ Artists’ Outlet has always been in downtown Toronto. Our location has moved over the years, as our needs and visions have expanded. 401 Richmond has been our home since 1998.
YYZ’s facility was designed by Scott Srli and was made possible in part by Margie Zeidler of 401 Richmond Inc. and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The following also donated time and resources toward the successful completion of the renovation: Neil Carey of Rescom Projects Inc., David J. Lieberman Architect, Donald Keith Moving and Flavio Trevisan.
