A very personal playlist. Enjoy an afternoon of music hand-picked by the COC's Music Director Johannes Debus.
From Bach to Beethoven to Rheinberger, this personal playlist is a collection of works that have influenced Debus over the course of his career. At the centre of the concert is Kammerkonzert 05, a chamber work written by Debus' mentor, Hans Werner Henze, and selected in recognition of Henze's 100th birthday. The piece had its world premiere under Debus' baton in 2006 and has been a personal favourite ever since.
