This workshop was designed for 2SLGBTQI+ community members and is generously sponsored by Community One Foundation.
Embellish clothing and accessories in 30 minutes or less with flash embroidery!
Learn basic hand embroidery techniques you can put into practice immediately to personalize yours and your friends stuff. Embroidery you can do on the go: in a park, in a waiting room, or during that zoom meeting that could have been an email.
Participants will learn how to work with embroidery thread, how to start and finish embroidery, how to tension embroidery, and basic stitches that can be applied to a ton of different designs.
Participants may also choose to bring their own clothing or accessories to embroider on during the workshop.
All materials will be supplied, however you may bring any clothing or accessory that you wish to embroider.
