The Cause: Nature Connection Fund
Our Nature Connection Fund will play a crucial role in enhancing community engagement with our programs. This is particularly important during the major renovation of The Forest School, which will transform it into an energy-efficient and accessible High Park Visitor and Nature Centre . During this period, the High Park Nature Centre will temporarily relocate to 440 Parkside Drive , affectionately known as “ The Cottage .”
This transition is an opportunity to reimagine and refresh our programs, create new learning materials, and offer engaging, hands-on experiences in a new corner of High Park. It also opens the door for participants to explore new trails, habitats, and stories within the park’s diverse landscape.
