Join us for a special conversation with Dana Wohlfeiler Lalkin, curator of the exhibit, and award-winning Haaretz photographer Tomer Appelbaum at the Al Green Theatre.
Israeli Testimony is a curated selection from Local Testimony, Israel’s annual photojournalism and documentary exhibition capturing pivotal moments in Israeli society. This year’s exhibition invites us to witness life in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza over the dramatic events of last year: the return of the hostages, ongoing violence, and political upheaval. These photographs capture moments of celebration, mourning, resilience, and humanity.
Hear directly from the curator and a featured photographer about the stories behind the images, the experience of documenting this moment in history, and the power of photography to shape how we understand the world around us.
Come see the exhibition. Stay for the conversation. Leave with a deeper perspective.
