Celebrate the season with a hands-on enamel workshop where you’ll design and fire your own sparkling holiday ornaments. You will explore the fundamentals of enameling—applying powdered glass, layering hues, firing with a kiln or torch, and adding decorative surface designs. Explore creative techniques using stencils and embellishments to design and fire your own ornaments. Experiment with colour blending, textures, and simple metalwork to elevate your creations.
A cosy, creative class for all skill levels! Whether you are brand new or returning to build on past experience, this class encourages personal style and artistic exploration.
By the end, you will walk away with two finished ornaments ready to decorate your house or gift to family and friends.
Owner, Emporium Vitreum & Sunline Enamel Supply
Creativity and curiosity have always guided my work as an artist, metalsmith, teacher, and enamellist. I’m energized by the process of discovery—experimenting with new materials, refining techniques, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with metal and enamel.
Enameling continues to captivate me with its versatility and expressive potential. I’ve been fortunate to learn from extraordinary mentors, and teaching has become my way of passing that generosity forward. For more than two decades, I’ve supported students across many artistic disciplines, helping them build confidence, develop craftsmanship, and find joy in the creative process.
