Nafas brings Korean traditional wind instruments into a contemporary sound world shaped by improvisation, electronics and percussion.
Daegeum and sogeum performer and composer Dasom Baek is joined by percussionist Eunji Kim for an intimate performance moving between delicate acoustic sound, rhythmic textures and layered electronic soundscapes.
Through traditional techniques, improvisation, live effects and looping, the performance explores new possibilities for Korean traditional instruments in a contemporary musical context.

Experience the Music
The daegeum is a large transverse bamboo flute, while the smaller sogeum has a brighter, higher register. Hear their acoustic character move into loops, live effects and electronic layers alongside percussion.
Nafas creates space for close listening, where breath, rhythm, improvisation and silence become part of the music.
