Ever wanted to build something useful for your home while getting hands-on with woodworking? Looking for a project that lets you turn a few pieces of wood into something you’ll actually use?
In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll build your own tabletop bookshelf from solid wood. You’ll learn how to prepare, cut, assemble and finish your project while becoming familiar with a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
We’ll cover how to plane wood flat, make accurate repeat cuts on the table saw, align pieces for a clean assembly, and securely join wood using glue and nails. You’ll also learn how to use a trim router to round over edges and how to sand your project for a smooth, finished look.
You’ll work through the entire process from arranging and gluing your wood to assembling the shelf, rounding the edges and giving everything a final sand. You’ll leave with a functional tabletop bookshelf made by you.
The price includes all necessary materials, tools and lots of fun!
