Looking for a Halloween project that’s a little more crafty than carving a pumpkin? Want to create your own spooky stained glass decoration to bring out every October?
This 6-hour hands-on workshop is broken down into two 3 hour sessions and will be held twice before Halloween (Session 1: Friday October 9 @ 6pm & Friday October 16th @ 6pm – Session 2: Tuesday October 20th @ 6pm & Tuesday October 27 @ 6pm). Please make sure you available for both workshops in your session! In this workshop, you will create your own spiderweb or pumpkin Halloween-inspired stained glass decoration from start to finish. You’ll choose your glass, follow a pattern to cut and grind your pieces, then bring everything together using copper foil and soldering techniques.
We’ll guide you through the full process of creating your piece, including safely cutting and grinding glass, applying copper foil, soldering, and attaching the chain and charms. You’ll also learn how to clean and polish your finished piece so it’s ready to hang.
You’ll leave with your own handmade Halloween stained glass decoration and the skills to continue exploring the Tiffany copper foil method in future projects.
Skills required: None! This workshop is beginner-friendly and no previous stained glass experience is required.
The price includes all necessary materials, equipment and lots of fun!
Note: Glass colours and charms may vary depending on availability, so each spiderweb & pumpkin will be unique.
Published booking admission: CAD $228 plus taxes. Booking and availability apply to each dated offering; any multi-session course fee covers its booked course.
