Into Something Good: British Invasion Tribute Concert
Concert in celebration of Chanukah featuring tribute band The British Invasion
In the mid-1960’s, North America was swept by an unprecedented wave of United Kingdom rock and pop. Inspired by American rhythm-and-blues and rock-and-roll, young British groups began infusing these styles with up-tempo melodic pop and fiery guitar-based instrumentation. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds, Cream, Herman’s Hermits… these now legendary bands took the world by storm, forever transforming music and pop culture. So put on your dancing shoes, enjoy some Chanukah and holiday treats, and sing along with Canada's premier 1960s British Invasion tribute band!
