Half Moon Run & The FILMharmonique Orchestra

*Half Moon Run & The FILMharmonique Orchestra*

Blending the raw intimacy of indie rock with the grandeur of a full orchestra, this show invites audiences into the band’s world as never before—with cinematic sound and boundless energy.

Led by conductor Francis Choinière, Half Moon Run’s most beloved songs are reimagined in sweeping symphonic form, transforming their signature sound into something immersive and transcendent. With stunning arrangements by Blair Thomson, strings and brass intertwine with pulsing percussion and haunting vocals, uncovering new emotional depths in every note.

What emerges is a sound both vast and personal, shaped by the instinctive interplay of Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, and Dylan Phillips—a chemistry that binds orchestral splendour with quiet intensity and unspoken understanding.
