Do you love having friends over for a drink? Ever wanted to build a practical piece of furniture for displaying and storing your favourite bottles?
In this 3-hour hands-on woodworking workshop, you’ll build your own wall-mounted wine bottle holder from start to finish. Using a combination of solid maple and Baltic birch, you’ll learn how to accurately measure, cut, drill, assemble and finish your project.
We’ll cover essential woodworking techniques including making precise repeat cuts on the table saw, drilling accurate bottle holes with a Forstner bit, using a trim router to round over edges, and aligning pieces for clean and secure assembly. You’ll also learn how to use glue, nails and screws effectively, as well as how to sand your project for a smooth finish.
You’ll leave with a unique wine bottle holder designed to display your bottles while putting your new woodworking skills to work.
Skills required: none! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to introduce you to a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
The price includes all necessary materials, workshop equipment and lots of fun!
