Fall River, the legend of Lizzie Borden

The University of Toronto Opera presents Fall River, the legend of Lizzie Borden — the story of Lizzie Borden, who was tried and ultimately acquitted for the 1892 brutal axe murders of her father and stepmother. Especially commissioned for U of T Opera, Fall River imagines the psychology, struggle and unfulfilled dreams of a young woman driven to brutal homicide.
