Embroidery Basics: Your First Stitch Sampler

Want to slow down and get creative? Ever imagined turning simple stitches into something beautiful?

In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll discover the fundamentals of embroidery by making a colorful design! Throughout the workshop you will create your own stitch Sampler, your very own reference guide to help you embroider at home. You will also learn line stitches such as backstitch, stem stitch and chain stitch, as well as filling and decorative stitches.

We’ll use a variety of stitches to create original, personalized designs. If you wish, you can bring your own design if it doesn’t exceed a 6″ diameter circle.

Skills required: none, except a little patience and attention to detail!

Price includes all workshop materials and the creation of you very first stitch sampler!
