Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd! Join us at Left Field Brewery as we unveil a new plaque on Diamond Park, once home to the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball team (they had the name first). The Leafs, Toronto’s first professional baseball club, played at Diamond Park from 1901 to 1907, and briefly again in 1909, drawing thousands of fans to the corner of Liberty Street and Fraser Avenue. Over their 82-year history, the Maple Leafs won 10 championship titles and helped shape Toronto’s early professional sports culture. As a special treat, Left Field Brewery will have a special Diamond Park beer on draught for everyone over 19 to enjoy. Let’s raise a glass to this chapter of Toronto’s sporting history!
