Develop and exercise the skills you need to be an active participant in everyday democracy in this fun, interactive session. Democracy Fitness expands traditional ideas of what democracy is by exploring the skills that help people participate in civic life, build understanding and work together.
In this session, we’ll exercise our Active Listening muscles. In a democracy, everyone has the right to speak. Being heard requires that someone listens. When you listen openly and with curiosity, you create understanding and trust.
This program is for adults, please register for email reminders, drop-in's are welcome.
This program is offered in partnership with Democracy Fitness Global and MASS LBP.
Generously supported by McConnell Foundation.
