Join José Andrés Mora as he explores the conceptual and fabrication process behind the artwork of Truth’s Entropy, InterAccess’s Fall 2026 exhibition.
Mora’s work elicits a sense of displacement stemming from his experience of migration. Mora writes short poetic texts and grafts their words onto digital media, creating spatial text installations that disembody the language from any specific speaker.
Truth’s Entropy is a text-based exhibition where the permanence of memory teeters at the edge of temporal inevitability. Mora’s artworks draw from the artist’s experience of geographic distance to invite contemplation of a subject's relationship to family and home. Texts live as projections that physically crawl across the gallery walls, and as Wi-Fi radio frequency emissions detected by nearby devices.
