Join us at the Yorkville Library for an Archaeoastronomy Lecture. Archaeoastronomy is the interdisciplinary study of how people in the past have understood the phenomena in the sky, how they used these phenomena, and what role the sky played in their cultures. Today, astronomy is considered to mean the scientific study of the universe, but it continues to connect, in so many other intriguing ways, with every aspect of cultures, including myth, religion, and the arts.
