Celebrate the spirit of autumn with the rich sounds of the Columbus Concert Band, under the direction of Annamaria Mazzaferro. This award-winning band kicks off the 2026/2027 season with a program of selections by Louis Prima, John Philip Sousa, George Gershwin, as well as jazz selections by the Columbus Jazz Band, led by Brian Menard. Special guest vocalist and musician David Malcolm joins the ensemble for this performance.

Bios:
Under the direction of Annamaria Mazzaferro, the Columbus Concert Band is an award-winning band, placing Platinum in the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Kiwanis Festival of Toronto, placing Second in the OMFA 2017, the 2023 Provincial Finals Recorded Competition, and recently awarded Gold in the Toronto Community Band Festival in 2025.
David Malcolm
David Malcolm is a musician and educator who specializes in performing jazz music. As an aspiring trumpeter and singer, he performs all over the GTA at venues includingthe Rex, Jazz Bistro, Beaches Jazz Fest and many more. He has also been performing with the Toronto All Star Big Band as lead trumpet and vocalist since 2022.
