Staying connected with family, keeping track of appointments, finding programs that interest you. AI can help with everyday things. No jargon, no pressure, no experience needed.
In this class led by our Innovator-in-Residence, Ryan Kelln, you'll learn how AI can help you write a message in your own voice, turn a spoken thought into a checklist, plan questions for an appointment, and find community programs. We'll also talk straight about the risks: AI that sounds like a person deserves caution, and we'll practice spotting the scams that use it. You'll leave with large-print materials, one personally useful template, and a simple family safety phrase, all at your own pace.
Prerequisites: Mouse, keyboarding and internet skills. Computers are provided. No coding experience required.
Registration is required and will start September 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
Note: Your spot will not be guaranteed after 5 minutes of the start of the program. After this time, remaining seats will be filled on a first come, first serve basis until capacity is reached. If you wish to save your work from this hands-on program, please bring your own USB stick.
